There might be a little dust from the plastering but It’s not that messy. We will ensure that every effort is made for the job to be completed cleanly. All surfaces, walls, windows and doors will be cleaned before completion. Any fixtures and fittings that we remove for plastering, will be refitted.
Drying times vary depending on the background and time of year. We will leave a small window open so that the moisture drawn from the walls can escape. You should wait for the plaster to turn from a dark brown to a light pink colour. Plastering on plasterboard drys faster usually taking in around 2-3 days. Were plastering on backing plaster takes about 4-6 days. As a rule of thumb plaster should be left for about a week before painting or tiling.
